Personal Information:
I'm unmarried, out of college, and looking for a full-time job. ^^ I live
just outside the town of Piggott, Arkansas, in a newly bought house. I guess as you may have figured out by now, I am
a Christian. I beleive in absolute truth, the saviour of the world, Jesus Christ, and in the truth of God's
power and unfailing love.
I was born the child of a missionary couple, Ron and Debbie Baker in
Davao City, the Philippines, 1983. I have two brothers and a sister (who is a really good artist, by the way, much better
than me! Maybe she'll let me post some of her stuff. ^^). When I was about 1 year old I moved with my family to the country
of Indonesia, where my parents were assigned by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. My parents
have been serving God in Indonesia for nearly 22 years and during that time, Indonesia has become my home. Our home. Besides
the six month furlough to these good ol' United States every two or three years. Indonesia is where I've lived the major
part of my life.
Indonesia is a beautiful country, of over 13,000 islands, tall, rolling
mountains, volcanoes, dense jungles, miles and miles of rice fields, pristine oceans, and a plethora of unique wildlife. Indonesians
are a hard working, albeit very poor people; very friendly and family oriented. Though much of the population of Indonesia
resides in small villages, there are major urban cities, with modern technology and conveniences. In 2003, we left the mission field on leave so that I could attend college.
